Heighten your Festival experience by taking part in one of our informative Master Classes. Featuring an unparalleled line-up of industry experts, our hosts will take you on a whirlwind ride to uncover South Australia’s best food and beverage secrets.

Cheese + Sparkling Master Class

Indulge your palate in this truly luxurious master class presented by DAOSA sparkling and Terre à Terre wines owner and winemaker, Xavier Bizot, and Woodside Cheese Wrights award-winning cheese maker, Kris Lloyd. Together, Xavier and Kris will guide you through a handpicked selection of Adelaide Hills’ traditional method sparkling wines paired with limited edition cheeses from Woodside Cheese Wrights.

Gin Blending Master Class

Join Settlers Spirits’ owner & head distiller, Rowland Short, for an interactive lesson in blending your own gin. Learn all about the different tastes, flavours and combinations of the 12 different botanicals used by Settlers Spirits while creating your own unique gin recipes. Leave the master class with a 200ml bottle of your best creation.

Wine Blending Master Class

Try your hand at winemaking at this exclusive Pinot Noir blending master class hosted by Tomich Wines. In this hands-on experience, you’ll learn how winemakers blend batches behind the scenes, the importance of fermentation and oak ageing and unlock the secret behind some of Adelaide Hills’ best rated wines, while you blend your own Pinot Noir from different barrel samples.

Cheese + Wine Master Class

Join award-winning queen of cheese, Sheree Sullivan, and winemaker and educator, Rhys Howlett, for a lesson in cheese, its history and what to consider when pairing cheese and wine. As part of this decadent master class you’ll be treated to a delicious selection of handmade Udder Delights Cheese carefully matched to fine local South Australian wines.
